The Rumeli Mecidiye Bastion is a military structure that holds one of the strategic points of the Dardanelles Strait. The Bastion exhibit presents chronologically and thematically the events of Gallipoli Wars, the effects of war and its reflections. The defense of the Dardanelles, the stories of war heroes Captain Mehmet Hilmi Bey and Corporal Seyit, the Bastion in battle conditions and the minute by minute events of war in Dardanelles on the day of March 18th are exhibited with a different story in each bonnet and artillery place. Digital and interactive applications and arrangements for disabled are integrated in the exhibit design.
