The curatorial works for the Tarsus City Museum have emerged as a result of a long research process and oral history studies. The geographical and natural features, legends, immovable cultural heritage, monuments, urban development, legends of Tarsus which has a long-established historical and urban tradition, have spread thematically into the chambers of the Kubatpaşa Madrasah which was reserved for the museum. The common memories, parks, recreation, eating and drinking culture, sports, traditional arts and production, which will refresh the memories of the Tarsus people and increase their belonging to the city, are presented under separate titles using open and closed spaces.
